Football Crochet Bottle Cozy Pattern

 Football Bottle Cozy Pattern


After searching for a football cozy for months, I couldn't find one that I liked.  After tons of experimenting and tons of hours with Hulu playing in the background, this pattern was born! The whole piece works up as one and then you add the stitches.

Materials:

- Brown Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver)

- White Yarn

- Crochet Hook sized G


Stitches:

sl st     slip stitch

sc        single crochet

ch       chain


Instructions:

With brown yarn, form a magic circle.

Row 1: Ch 1, 6 sc in the magic circle, sl st to join, ch 1.

R2: 2 sc in each stitch, sl st to join, ch1.

R3: 2 sc in next stitch, sc in the next one.  Repeat all the way around. Sl st to join, ch 1.

R4: 2 sc in next stitch, sc in the next 2 stitches.  Repeat all the way around. Sl st to join, ch 1.

R5: 2 sc in next stitch, sc in the next 3 stitches.  Repeat all the way around.  Sl st to join, ch 1. (30 st)


You have just created the bottom of the cozy.  From now on, the pattern will be worked in a round.  Do not join.


R6-7: Sc all the way around.  (30 st)

R8: Sc all the way around.  Single crochet decrease in last two stitches. (29 st)

R9: Sc all the way around.  Single crochet decrease in last two stitches.  (28 st)

R10-11: Sc all the way around.

Switch to white.

R12: Sc all the way around.

Switch to brown.

R13-26: Sc all the way around

Switch to white.

R27: Sc all the way around.

Switch to brown.

R28-32: Sc all the way around.  Fasten off and weave in ends.


Laces:

With a long piece of white yarn, stitch on the laces.

Easy Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern

 Easy Crochet Baby Blanket Pattern


Hook: N  (10.00 mm)


Yarn: Size 4 worsted weight.  700-800 yds

In the sample, I used Red Heart Hegge Charm.  This created a very light baby blanket. 


Abbreviations:

HDC = half double crochet

SC = single crochet



Instructions:

Row 1: Chain 62 (If you chain tightly, you may go up a hook size)


Rows 2-65: Half double crochet in the second chain from the hook.  HDC all the way across.  Turn.  Ch 2.


Border: 

Instead of chaining 2, chain 1.  Single crochet across each side.  Chain one in the corners.  You can do as many rows of sc as desired.

Crochet Pencil Case Pattern

 


Hook: I (5.5 mm)


Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn size 4


Pattern:

Row 1: Ch 25. 


Row 2: Sc in second chain from hook and sc across. Ch 1 turn


Rows 3-35: Sc across. Ch 1. Turn.


Row 36: Sc 12 stitches. Chain 51. Sl st in the second chain from hook and back down the chain. Single crochet in the next stitch and across. Ch 1 in the corner.


Row 37: Sc down the sides until you hit Row 20. Make sure you ch1 in the corners. Fold rows 1-24 up and sew shut using a single crochet. Sc around until you reach the tail.  Sl st.  Fasten off.
